I joined the Lib Dems as recently as 2006, having decided that shouting at the telly was no longer enough. More seriously, I was (and remain) very disillusioned with a Labour government whose election I once worked for, specifically over the Iraq war and the introduction of ID cards.

I feel that the Liberal Democrats strike the right balance between social justice and individual liberties; they are not beholden to wealthy backers or corporate interests, and have a well thought out programme for constitutional reform. Why not join us, and help make it happen?
