Local people

I went to school at Cardinal Newman & Steyning Grammar, before reading Law at De Montfort University. After one year teaching English in Sao Paulo, I came back to Brighton and took my MBA at Brighton University. I am married to my lovely wife Gemma, and I work in language training and new technology.

I joined the Liberal Democrats when Tony Blair invaded Iraq, and Charles Kennedy opposed him. Since then I have watched as "New" Labour systematically blundered forward, promoting excess credit and a culture of consumerist greed. I feel that national economic decline and international marginalization were exacerbated by the Labour Government.

I believe that Brighton & Hove is essentially a Liberal city, many of the core values of the Liberal Democrats are shared by the wider population. By voting LIberal Democrat I believe we can have a Council that promotes the values of this city, generates sustainable and realistic economic activity while delivering our essential services.
