Supporters Club

Want to help fund our election campaigning, and have the chance to win a cash prize? Then the Supporters Club draw is for you!

How does the Supporters Club draw work?

Each quarter we hold a prize draw for all members of the Brighton & Hove Liberal Democrats Supporters Club. Half the income received to the draw is paid out to the winner, while the other half goes towards our general election campaign fund for the Brighton & Hove parliamentary constituencies.

How much does it cost?

Each "stake" in the draw costs just £1 per month or £3 per quarter. Each member can hold up to five stakes in the draw, and each household can hold up to ten stakes. You can pay by regular standing order or by cheque. The prize fund each quarter depends on the number of stakes taken out by our supporters and is potentially £150 if the draw is fully subscribed.

Who can take part?

The draw is open to anyone who wants to help support our campaign fund - you don't have to be a Liberal Democrat party member.

When does the draw take place?

The draw takes place at the end of each calendar quarter. To be eligible for the prize draw, supporters must have paid in £3 for each stake during the quarter. Winners are notified by the Brighton & Hove party treasurer.

How do I enter?

To set up a regular standing order for the draw, please email treasurer@liberalbrighton.org confirming how many stakes you would like to take in the draw and the frequency of your standing order (monthly, quarterly or annual).

Alternatively to pay by cheque, please send a cheque made payable to "Brighton & Hove Liberal Democrats " to Brighton & Hove Liberal Democrats, 7 North Gardens, Brighton, BN1 3LB. Please include details of how many stakes you would like to take in the draw.
